'Serene Cuisine' Menu 10/7/15

With so many beautiful dishes to choose from, (and if I weren't the chronic procrastinator that I am) it's often difficult to narrow down what I am going to have on the menu for you each week. This week has been no exception, but I have finally made a decision.

                                                                                                        Everybody Loves Pasta


This week as the main meal, I will be making my version of Alfredo Pasta, obviously without the cream. The Alfredo sauce consists of a creamy blend of roasted sweet potato and herbs served over a bed of pasta and topped with my own vegan parmesan cheese.
Herb and garlic bread will also be on offer as the perfect accompaniment.




And Then There's Chocolate


Dessert this week is an incredibly moist piece of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and a sprinkling of locally grown, organic walnuts. I don't know about you, but I always think chocolate cake and walnuts are the perfect 'marrying' of ingredients.
